Our professional dental staff is here to assist you through all aspects of your ongoing dental care during your visits to our office. Our Administrative Team members facilitate your visit by coordinating your appointments, handling all aspects of your insurance, and making whatever financial arrangements are necessary. We try to answer any questions you may have concerning our office.

Anh is our Office Manager.
She is in charge of making sure our office runs smoothly for patients and staff alike.  She handles insurance and financial arrangements. She helps to make your experience here at the Dental Office a pleasant one. She graduated from Northeastern University with a major in English. She enjoys books, cooking and spending time with family.

staff2.jpgStacey is our Front Desk Coordinator.
She and Anh work side by side helping patients schedule appointments and answer any questions they may have as to their experience here in the office. She has a very calming, pleasant manner in her interactions with patients and staff alike. Stacey is a graduate of St. Lawrence University.

Betty has been involved in the dental field since 1977 and has worked at the front desk, bringing to our office her expertise, organizational abilities and an outside perspective. Betty, along with her husband, Dr. Burton Goldfarb, has retired from the office as well.

staff4.jpgHygiene Our hygienists help you maintain your overall oral health through periodic hygiene appointments, which include an oral cancer screening exam, periodontal screening exam, yearly x-rays to help diagnose dental decay and periodontal disease, cleaning and polishing of the teeth, and where necessary, the definitive periodontal charting. For those patients who have more serious periodontal conditions, our hygienists do scaling and root planing to eliminate the source of infection from below the gum line and, where necessary, also irrigate periodontal pockets with antimicrobial agents or inject these pockets with a time-released antibiotic which works for over a 20 day period, helping to promote reattachment of the gum tissue to the tooth. We also use LASER technology and LASER Bacterial Reduction (LBR). Used in periodontal therapy, it kills the bacteria around the teeth (sulcular decontamination) to give healthier gums and for gingival curettage to go along with scaling and root planing to remove diseased tissue. Our hygienists help educate you about brushing, flossing, and using other aids to help keep your entire mouth healthy and will inform you about fluoride and other products which may help prevent decay and maintain healthy gums, and breath products to help prevent bad breath. They are a good source of information about the cosmetic procedures we offer such as bleaching, bonding, veneers, all porcelain crowns and white fillings.

Elaine Jean DeBitetto, R.D.H. Elaine is a graduate of Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists and has been working with Dr. Burton Goldfarb since 1993. She has a strong commitment to individualized preventive patient care. Her hobbies include training and competing in the sport of Triathlon. She is a member of the Boston Triathlon Team and competes nationally and internationally in the sport.

Christine graduated from Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists with honors in 1999.  She has a warm, friendly smile that makes our patients, young and old, feel at ease.  She began in our office part time and now works full time here.

She is in charge of our hygiene recall system, calling patients who are due for appointments to keep them on track.

Elde graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at The Bryman Institute. She has been Dr. Dan Goldfarb's full time dental assistant for a number of years.  She also graduated from Mt. Ida's Dental Hygiene Program and now works in our office both assisting and doing hygiene. She is pleasant and easy to work with and cares a great deal about her patients.

Our Dental Assistants
Our dental assistants assist the dentist with your dental treatment, and help you feel more relaxed and comfortable during your visit. They inform you about the nature of the treatment you are getting, why you need it and what steps are involved, and explain what will be done at additional visits. They also can inform you about other procedures you may be interested in. They take x-rays to help diagnose problems you may have, and take impressions for study models. They go over instructions for follow up home care and help set up your next appointment to best meet your needs.

Joan has worked for Dr. Goldfarb since 1979 and has been his Dental Assistant since 1982. Besides her dental assisting duties, Joan is in charge of all our clinical supplies and helps out wherever she is needed in the office.

Josephine graduated from the Bryman Institute in their Dental Assisting Program and is Dr. Daniel Goldfarb's full time chairside assistant. She is calm and caring and helps patients feel comfortable at their visits.
